Founded in 2010, Pier2Pier is a brand management agency that combines the Italian founding partner’s extensive experience in this sector, with the hugely creative talent and technological competence of South African professionals.
Based in Cape Town, Pier2Pier has been organized and structured with this collective International experience in mind.
This has produced an efficient and dynamic company that compete on an international level and has undertaken and completed a number of successful projects for overseas clients. Thanks to this symbiosis of South African and Italian creativity and experience, Pier2Pier is able to offer you a strategically customized solution for your every need.

Our creative and dynamic team collectively represent years of experience and a formidable mix of expertise. Pier2Pier’s horizontal team approach has ensured a collaborative organizational structure, where each individual is multi-skilled, and multi-capable. This cross pollination of capabilities ensure that our designers are marketing minded, our marketing experts are creative, and our development crew is conceptual.

Nicolò Stortiglione Pudel

Nicolò’s obvious enthusiasm for advertising has been evident from his early University days. Having had the great privilege to collaborate with iconic figures such as Bruce Weber for Vogue Italia, Nicolò was later able, as Marketing Manager for the internationally acclaimed textile company, ‘C&C Milano’, to put his fashion and advertising experience to good use. In 2009 he moved to South Africa, where with the other partners, he has built his own agency with the aim to establish a strong international network of passionate creative professionals.

Monica Pesenti

Working between Milan and Cape Town, Monica has been actively involved in the communication industry since the early 80’s.
Graduating with a degree in Visual Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, she developed her capabilities by assisting Professor Giancarlo Iliprandi, specialising in corporate and publishing communication, and since started her own self-entitled company.
Believing that the past is a lesson, present is a challenge and opportunity is the future, her collaboration with the other partners set the development of Pier2Pier in motion.

Daléne

With a passion for the written word, Dalené graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in journalism.
Coupled with media studies at the University of Georgia in the US and Oxford University, she has cultivated a diverse background in journalism and copywriting. As Pier2Pier’s aspiring new account manager and copywriter she has finally found the perfect balance between writing and her desire to work with people.

Fred

“Dedication to the cause.” A true team player, Frederick has an impressive set of references behind his name. Specialising in Front-End Development after finishing a course in Multimedia Technology. His positive attitude and ability to adapt to any situation means that he has become a valuable asset to the Pier2Pier team. A tribute to his experience and personality, Fred sees himself as “a free thinker, I give everything a chance and then filter out the bad.”

Alan

Our resident Brazilian Vegetarian Creative and Musician, Alan’s passion for design and all things digital is inspiring. With a vast amount of experience within his native São Paolo, Alan was tempted to our fair city to experience Africa in all its glory. His insatiable thirst to stay abreast of industry and design trends has meant that he has become a valuable member of our team and we’re deeply thankful that he chose South Africa as a travel destination.

Gerhard

Gerhard’s vast and comprehensive experience within the Media Industry has allowed him a well-informed perspective on his current position as Pier2Pier developer. An Advanced Diploma at Cape Town’s City Varsity in Multimedia Design and Production has offered him a refined understanding of design and coding; allowing him to offer tailor-made digital solutions to suit the exacting needs of our Pier2Pier clients. Gerhard’s technical support coupled with his innate creative understanding and dedication has proven to be an invaluable asset to the Pier2Pier team.

Werner

A perfectionist, Werner focuses not only on the aesthetic appeal of design but insists on the importance of detail. With a special interest in photo manipulation and web-design Werner has excelled in these fields though is not limited to them. A tenuous obsession with detail and design ensures detailed, well-thought out designs with an obvious interest and dedication to the needs of the client. Having studied Multimedia and Design at City Varsity in Cape Town, and 4 years of agency experience, Werner continues to perfect his craft to Pier2Pier’s credit.
